You've probably heard of external hard drives before—they serve as the perfect companions to extend the storage capacity of your devices. And let me tell you, modern external hard drives have come a long way. Micro SD cards can now hold up to a whopping 1 TB of data. Can you imagine having 1 TB of storage on your smartphone? It's mind-boggling!
SEAGATE
In the ever-evolving world of external hard drives, Seagate has consistently been a leading name, renowned for their expertise in electronic storage solutions. Today, we dive into one of their top-tier products, the One Touch SSD.
ONE-TOUCH SSD
Now, Seagate needs no introduction. With their long-standing presence in the hard drive industry, they have earned their reputation as pioneers. Today, we shine the spotlight on their exceptional product, the One Touch SSD. But before we delve into the details, take a moment to watch this video review showcasing the 1 TB variant of the One Touch SSD.

DIMENSION
As you can see, the One Touch SSD boasts a compact form factor, measuring almost the length of my pinky finger. It's truly remarkable how such a small device can offer such vast storage capabilities while remaining highly portable. To be more precise, its dimensions are as follows:
Length: 7 cm
Width: 5 cm
Height: 1 cm
SPEED OF DATA TRANSFER
Now, let's talk about speed. The One Touch SSD is, in my opinion, one of the fastest and most reliable storage solutions, particularly in urgent and time-critical situations. Seagate claims that the One Touch SSD can achieve speeds of up to 1040 MB per 4 seconds or approximately 250 MB per second. And if you take a closer look at the image below, you'll see that Seagate not only lives up to their promises but even surpasses their marketing claims.
*Notice the impressive write sequential speed!
STORAGE & COMPATIBILITY
When it comes to storage, the One Touch SSD takes a modern approach. Unlike traditional FAT32 formatting, this product utilizes the exFAT file system. You may not be familiar with the differences between the two, but to put it simply, exFAT is a more advanced and contemporary format. However, due to its modern nature, it may not be compatible with older devices or new devices running on outdated operating systems.
During my testing, I found that the One Touch SSD worked seamlessly with laptops and smartphones, detecting and accessing the drive flawlessly. However, it failed to be detected or read by smart TVs and media players in cars.
SYNC PLUS (only on SSD version)
Seagate consistently enhances their products by including helpful software solutions, and the One Touch SSD is no exception. They provide a dedicated software called "Sync Plus," which serves as a mirroring tool, creating backups of the internal storage on your laptop or computer.
As soon as you connect your One Touch SSD, Sync Plus will automatically initiate the backup process, ensuring data redundancy and availability. In my opinion, this feature is invaluable, as it safeguards your important files in case of unexpected corruption or data loss on your laptop or computer. With the One Touch SSD and Sync Plus, you can rest assured that your data is securely backed up and readily accessible.
Seagate continues to push the boundaries of storage technology, and the One Touch SSD is a testament to their innovation and commitment to delivering exceptional products. Experience the power of compact storage with the One Touch SSD Seagate—unlocking a world of convenience and reliability for your data storage needs.
